In order to see the bigger picture, I chose to step out of the familiar medical field and gave up a stable public sector job that would have allowed me to retire at the age of 65. I entered the Polytechnic Institute to study Digital Health, where I learned in depth how technology can improve systems, support health, and explore the business models behind it.
Because I realized:
No matter how good an intervention method is, if it does not have a sustainable system model, it will be difficult to scale up and cannot enter the lives of more people.
Technology with warmth requires an understanding of people’s perspective and systematic strategies to be truly implemented.
